Booking Terms for JOSS
These terms apply when you book an appointment with JOSS, Landsvägen 15 A, 172 63 Sundbyberg. JOSS is operated by Sonia Rjeb, a Swedish sole proprietorship (enskild firma), reg. no 930427-8329. The terms apply when you book via the salon's own booking flow on the website, via the waiting list, or by phone.
1. What a booking means
When you book an appointment, you choose the treatment, the hairdresser and the time. The time is initially reserved provisionally and becomes a confirmed booking once you have entered your details and accepted these terms. A confirmed booking is an agreement between you and the salon that the salon will perform the selected treatment at the booked time.
2. Booking confirmation
Once the booking is confirmed, you will receive a booking number on the screen, and a confirmation is sent to the email address you have provided. Save your booking number — you will need it if you want to change or cancel your appointment.
The confirmation also contains a personal link where you can view your booking and cancel it yourself. The link applies to your booking only, so please do not share it. If you would like to change the time instead, contact the salon; see point 4.
3. Prices and payment
The price shown when you book applies to your booking. If a price is stated as a "from" price, the final price may vary depending on, for example, the length of your hair and the scope of the treatment — feel free to ask the salon before your visit if you want to know what applies to you.
Payment is made at the salon after the treatment, unless otherwise stated at the time of booking. If online payment is offered at the time of booking, this is clearly indicated in the booking flow, and the payment is then handled by the salon's payment service provider. The salon never stores your full card details.
4. Cancellation
You can cancel your appointment free of charge no later than 24 hours before the booked time.
The easiest way is to cancel it yourself using the personal link in your booking confirmation. No login is required, and the cancellation takes effect as soon as you have confirmed it.
If you cannot use the link, cancel by contacting the salon via the contact form on the website, via the salon's Instagram, or by phone on +46 73 943 09 27. State your booking number when you cancel.
If less than 24 hours remain before your appointment, the link can no longer be used to cancel. Please contact the salon instead; point 5 applies to late cancellation.
5. Late cancellation
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the booked time, you may be charged a fee of 100 kr.
6. No-show
If you fail to show up for your booked appointment without cancelling, you may be charged 50 percent of the price of the treatment, but no more than 500 kr.
Examples: a treatment costing 600 kr may incur a fee of 300 kr, a treatment costing 900 kr may incur 450 kr, and a treatment costing 1 400 kr may incur at most 500 kr.
7. If the salon has to cancel
If the salon needs to cancel your appointment, for example due to illness, we will contact you as soon as possible and help you book a new appointment. You pay nothing for an appointment that the salon has cancelled. If you have already paid for the treatment, the full amount will be refunded.
8. Refunds
If you have paid in advance and cancel on time, or if the salon cancels, the amount you are entitled to will be refunded. Refunds are made in the same way as the payment was made where possible. Contact the salon if you have questions about a refund.
9. Technical errors and double payments
If a technical error results in a payment being charged twice, the incorrectly charged amount will be refunded. Contact the salon immediately if you discover a double payment.
10. Waiting list
If no available time suits you, you can sign up for the waiting list. You will then provide your contact details, your desired treatment and your preferred time interval. When a suitable time becomes available, you will receive an offer by email with a stated response time and a link to respond. If you do not respond within the response time, the offer passes on. You can decline an offer and still remain on the waiting list.
11. Telephone bookings
If you book by phone, the staff will register the booking for you. The staff will then inform you of these terms, and your verbal acceptance is recorded on the booking together with the version of the terms in force.
12. Children and minors
For treatments of children (for example children's haircuts), a guardian books the appointment and is responsible for the terms being accepted. The guardian must also accompany the child during the visit, unless otherwise agreed with the salon.
13. Gift cards
Gift cards are sold and administered via the salon's external gift card service. The terms that apply to the purchase and redemption of gift cards are stated at the time of purchase.
14. Right of withdrawal for distance bookings
When you book your appointment on the website or via the waiting list, you enter into a distance contract. You therefore have a right of withdrawal under the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (2005:59), and may withdraw from the booking within 14 days counted from the day the booking was confirmed.
How to withdraw. Tell the salon that you are withdrawing — via the personal link in your booking confirmation, via the contact form on the website, by phone on +46 73 943 09 27, or by email to jossfrisor.sundbyberg@gmail.com. State your booking number. You may use the standard withdrawal form published by the Swedish Consumer Agency, but you do not have to: any clear statement is enough.
No fee when you withdraw. The late cancellation and no-show fees in points 5 and 6 do not apply when you exercise the right of withdrawal before the treatment has been performed.
When the right of withdrawal ends. The right of withdrawal no longer applies to a treatment that has been performed, if you expressly asked the salon to perform it at the booked time and accepted that the right of withdrawal lapses once the treatment is complete. If the treatment was begun at your express request but is not complete when you withdraw, the salon may charge for the part already performed, in proportion to the whole treatment.
If you booked far in advance. The 14-day period runs from the time of booking, not from your appointment, and may therefore have expired before your appointment falls due. The salon's own cancellation rules in points 4–6 then apply instead.
15. Disputes
If a dispute arises, contact the salon in the first instance and we will try to resolve it together. You can also turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), which examines the dispute free of charge and issues a recommendation. Swedish law applies to these terms and to the agreement between you and the salon.
